Mark Pacold, PE | Senior Engineer

Mark’s experience in water resources engineering and civil engineering throughout Washington and Idaho has focused on river restoration, conveyance, and site design. During his career, Mark has supported interdisciplinary project teams and led design activities on small- and large-scale projects for a diverse client base including private landowners, agencies, and municipalities. His engineering and design background is complimented with experience in hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, stormwater, irrigation, scour, erosion control, and channel, streambank, and floodplain restoration. Mark understands there are many moving parts within every project and how to adjust dynamically to meet those requirements and needs. He specializes in providing services such as project design, field data collection, surveying, and construction observation and is proficient with programs such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS.

When not in the office, Mark can be found making the most of the Idaho playground through biking, chasing steelhead, and skiing. He can’t wait to share it all with his two young daughters.
